Too Bella! Week 5 - DI

Friday, January 26th update - 12am

Keeping Julia in a bubble worked! She came out of the house a couple of times, but we kept her away from outdoor activities and her ANC recovered. Funny thing I noticed this week how much Spanglish she is talking everyday! She loves to tell me 'Mira' (look), te amo (I love you), she knows how to sing the cucaracha song, she often starts numbers in English, but finishes with seis(6), siete (7)... she's too Bella! (Beautiful). God is so gracious I didn't have this same experiance with my oldest, I worked outside the home their entire childhood, always rushed and chaotic. I see it as a gift from God!

We had clinic day Wednesday, Julia met counts and resumed with week 5 in this Delayed Intensification. She had 2 chemos, one prophylactic infusion, and others meds. This week she has four consecutive days of chemo administered via IV. She started the 1st one in clinic, I will administer the rest at home. She started a new round of 15 day oral chemo.

I'm so incredibly inspired by this little one, she's a true warrior. I'm so confident to say this has to be attributed to God and His divine hand, strength & grace given to juju. I'm so confident He hears your prayers, and delights in His people coming together to intercede for each other's needs! Thank you so much!! Forever grateful that you are on our side remembering our little sunshine in your prayers. May God Bless you and refresh you as you seek His presence.

Appreciate your prayers for Julia to remain strong, the next few weeks are very intense treatments, may she be free from any fevers caused by the IV chemo, minimal/controlled nausea, physical & emotional strength. Still waiting on the Neurologist consultation 🙏🏼God's wisdom, peace & strength for this mama this week, I desperately need all the above, thank you.
